Betty Muench passed away…

Dear Park Residents,

Elizabeth (Betty) Muench passed away at Shell Pointe Village on December 12th at the age of 97. She co-founded Periwinkle Park with her husband Albert fifty years ago. A family memorial service is planned for later next month.

    We would like to extend our deepest condolences, to you and your family, for your recent loss of your mother. My father remembered Betty fondly and said she was a good friend of theirs. They lived down the street from them in the park. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

  2. I’m so sorry for the family of Betty. It’s heartbreaking to lose someone you love. I’m sure she was a wonderful lady. She and her husband started something that has brought joy to so many people including us.

  4. So sorry to learn of Betty’s passing. My Mom (94 now) and her husband enjoyed many special years at the park beginning in 1989 through 2000’s.
